Partney 

 

It is now possible to obtain information concerning the most recent Census.  It is available online at www.statistics.gov.uk/census2001

The Census shows that in 2001 there were 112 households in Partney (including 7 that were empty), with 232 residents.  Of these, 119 were male and 113 female.

Of the 105 occupied households, 66 were owner occupied, 16 rented from the Public Sector and 23 from Private Landlords.  There were 67 detached properties, 37 semi-detached or terraced properties and 8 flats, apartments, caravans or 'temporary structures'.

The Census asked a number of detailed questions.  From these we can report that seven households had 3 or more cars, 24 had 2 cars, 65 had 1 car and 9 had no car.  In all, Partney residents owned 136 cars between them!  The Census also provides information on the number of residents within various age groups:
